Ben is an American comedy director originally from Atlanta, Georgia. His career began when he took his hobby of making films with the family video camera to the next level, submitting his work to competitions.
He was honored at AICP, won a Young Director Award at Cannes, and was featured in Shoots’s New Directors Showcase. Additionally, Ben’s Doritos Goat 4 Sale Super Bowl spot was ranked #1 in Nielsen’s ratings for both Most Likeable and Most Memorable Super Bowl XLVII commercials.
With a reel that spans a wide spectrum of comedy, from clever and insightful to hilariously offbeat, Ben has built a reputation for his smart, distinctive approach to comedic commercials and branded content. Adman, his short film and romantic comedy, features each scene crafted as a standalone TV spot for a fictional product and has earned him international recognition.
Ben has directed commercials for brands including GEICO, Volkswagen, Doritos, Motorola, Verizon, and Bosch. His work for Bosch won Best Direction and Best Commercial at the German Advertising Film Award (DWP).
